- 2 Sticks Butter Or Margarine -- softened
- 2 C Sugar
- 1/2 C Chunky Peanut Butter
- 4 1-Oz Unsweetened Chocolate Squares -- melted
- 6 Eggs
- 2 C Flour
- 2 Tsp Baking Powder
- 1/2 Tsp Baking Soda
- 1/3 C Milk
- 6 oz Semisweet Chocolate Chips
- Quick Chocolate Frosting -- (recipes follows)
- 1/3 C Peanuts -- chopped
Preparation Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Butter a 12-cup bundt pan.
- In a large bowl, beat together butter and sugar with an electric mixer on medium speed until light and fluffy, 1 to 2 mins. Add peanut butter and melted chocolate and beat till well blended. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
- Sift together flour, baking powder, and baking soda. Beat into chocolate mixture alternately with milk just until combined. Stir in chocolate chips. Turn batter into prepared pans.
- Bake 55 to 60 mins, or until a cake tester inserted in center comes out clean. Let cool in pan 15 mins, then unmold onto a rack and let cool completely.
- Frost cake all over with Quick Chocolate Frosting. Sprinkle peanuts on top.
