Coconut-Pecan Frosting

Ingredients:

1-1/2 cups (12 oz. can) evaporated milk
1-1/2 cups sugar
4 egg yolks, slightly beaten
3/4 cup (1-1/2 sticks) margarine or butter, softened
1-1/2 teaspoons vanilla
2 cups Baker's coconut flakes
1-1/2 cups chopped pecans

Directions:

Mix milk, sugar, egg yolks, margarine and vanilla in large saucepan.
Cook and stir on medium heat until mixture thickens and is golden, about 12 minutes. Remove from heat. Stir in coconut and pecans. Cool until thick enough to spread, stirring occasionally.
