Coconut-Pecan Frosting

Ingredients:

1-1/2 cups (12 oz. can) evaporated milk
1-1/2 cups sugar
4 egg yolks, slightly beaten
3/4 cup (1-1/2 sticks) margarine or butter, softened
1-1/2 teaspoons vanilla
2 cups Baker's coconut flakes
1-1/2 cups chopped pecans

Almost Buttercream - Edible for Gingerbread Houses

Ingredients:Justify Full
1/2 cup white shortening
1/4 cups powered sugar
1/4 vanilla (use clear vanilla to avoid discoloring frosting)
1/4 teaspoon almond or coconut extract
1/4 tablespoons milk or hot water
Food color

Fondant - For Gingerbread House Ornaments

Ingredients:

- 1/3 cup light corn syrup
- 1/4 cup white shortening
- 1/4 teaspoon flavoring (peppermint, cherry, almond extract, etc.)
- 1 pound powered sugar
- Food color

Cream Cheese Frosting

Ingredients:

- 2 packages 3 oz. softened cream cheese
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
-pinch of salt
- 4 - 5 cups powered sugar

Dark Chocolate Buttercream Frosting

Ingredients:

1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup milk
1 - 12 oz. package
semi-sweet chocolate chips
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
4-1/2 to 5 cups powered sugar, unsifted

Buttercream Frosting

Ingredients:

- 4 cups powdered sugar
- 1/4 cup butter, softened
- 1/4 cup solid vegetable shortening
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon almond extract

Bakery Shop Icing


Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup Butter or margarine (brick)
- 6 tbsp shortening
- 1 cup white sugar
- 2 tsp clear vanilla
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1/2 cup warm milk
