Tinting, Toasting & Chocolate-coated COCONUT

Tinting Coconut

Blend some drops of liquid food color with 1 Spoon water and scatter over 1 cup coconut in a plastic bag. Shake up and down until color is well distributed.

Toasting Coconut

Heat oven to 350 F. Cover over the Baker's Angel Flake coconut in an even layer having a little depth baking pan. Toast 7 to 12 minutes or until lightly dark or browned or dusty colour. Mix thoroughly the coconut or shake the pan repeted so that it will dark or brown evenly. Or, toast in microwave oven on HIGH, 5 minutes for 1-1/3 cups coconut, stirring at a times.

Chocolate-coated Coconut

Microwave mean two squares of Baker's small-Sweet chocolate in microwave able bowl on HIGH 1 to 2 minutes until almost disappear, stirring every 30 seconds.

Move until completely disappear. Add 1-1/3 cup Baker's Angle Flake coconut; mix well. Stretch onto cookie per sheet, dividing flakes of coconut with a fork. Use a small pointed piece of wood (toothpick) to difference clumps. Chocolate is set until it’s Refrigerate .It’s Store in tightly covered jar. Makes about 1-1/2 cups.
